CM Acoustics were invited to supply and fit the studio treatment for Scott Rossers new home studio. Scott Rosser is best known for his productions under Dario G and Cahill...He is also the in house producer mix/master engineer for 3Beat productions Ltd
The room was built completely into the apex of the building. The reflection points where on angled/sloped walls and the space suffered from flutter echo around the window bays to the front and the rear of the room.
CM Acoustics came up with a plan for acoustically treating the space but limitations and compromises did have to be made due to the awkward size and shape of the room and also the items within the room (for example each panel was flush mounted as opposed to offset mounting). Installation and measurement/checking of the rooms acoustics was carried out in stages throughout the day of installation. The results where almost perfect and Scott Rossers new studio (featuring the API BOX mixing console) was ready to mix and produce yet more hits.
Scott Rosser later contacted CM Acoustics to advise of the following...
"I Just want to say the treatment has made a big difference to the sound in the room so I'm really pleased. I can actually hear what's going on when I'm working now :)"
The majority of treatment products used within this installation were the CM486 by CM Acoustics https://www.cmacoustics.co.uk/cm486-broadband-absorber
