Do you need an acoustic test and report?

We are able to offer a wide range of independent noise testing throughout the UK, from environmental noise impact to noise risk assessments in the workplace (Noise at Work Regulations 2005).

Our 3rd party acoustics engineers have comprehensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of Acoustics and Noise Control engineering solutions and are Members of The Institute of Acoustics

Dependent on the specification (noise logging may need to be carried out anything from 1 day up to 5 days)  the average time scale for completion is 10 – 14 working days from placement of an acoustic testing order.

Noise risk assessments in the workplace (Noise at Work Regulations 2005) will on average be carried out within one working day (dependent upon employee numbers) whilst any disruption to your production process will be kept to an absolute minimum.

BTC Testing
As part of our continued research into room acoustics and the development of our acoustic treatment products CM Acoustics had a number of tests independently carried out by UKAS accredited laboratories on a range of its products, the results of which can be found on the product pages.

Tests were carried out according to  BS EN ISO 354:2003. The acoustics laboratory was purpose built in 1967 in order to meet the challenges posed by lightweight construction techniques. The laboratory has two partition test suites; a floor and ceiling test suite and a reverberation room. The laboratory was the first acoustics laboratory to achieve accreditation in 1983 and with UKAS accreditation today, still leads the way in building acoustics excellence.
